Catch Up Post - Writing Update
Alright, this is going to be another round-up writing post. I've been out of town for the last five days and didn't get a chance to write this post on how my writing went. That being said, I have been keeping up with the writing itself, so I'm feeling pretty good.
Let's jump straight into the writing updates:
Day 16 - 613 words, I wrote most of these words at work. I had some downtime there and got in as many words as I could. It was a good writing session and I was excited about the continuation of the story. Good writing day, feeling pumped with my progress.
Day 17 - 166 words, today was a travel day. We spent most of the day running errands and it took us forever to get on the road. I didn't get to any writing until we had made it to our destination. We actually had a charity dinner/auction to attend and I got really bored so I ended up writing on my phone at the event. What can I say? I'll write just about anywhere!
Day 18 - 100 words, this was a tricky day! I spent all day at a client charity golf tournament and then went straight into a charity dinner later that night. It was a long, hard day. I did not want to write. I even seriously thought about breaking the chain, but I ended up busting out a few words on my phone in between the events.
Day 19 - 204 words, had to bust out my phone for these words because I spent most of the day hanging out with my family or in meetings. I sort of got in a good rhythm with writing, but cut myself off early because I've been exhausted and not in the mood to write.
Day 20 - 538 words, my husband actually made me sit down and get some words written! I spent the whole time checking my word count tracker to see how close I was to my goal. I got the words down, but I'm not sure how they went.
Day 21 - 116 words, I did not feel like writing today. I was actually in my hometown most of the day. I ended up driving home which is a two-hour drive. So by the time I got home, I was tired and ready for bed. I did not want to write. That being said, I didn't want to break my streak, so I sat down and busted out a few words. They weren't the greatest, but they got written.
Day 22 - 1,049 words, I met up with my writing friend at Starbucks and got some words started. These were pretty good words that quickly dissolved into a conversation and no more words! After dinner together, I went home and finished up my writing goal for the day. I ended up passing the 10,000-word mark for this project!
Those are all the updates I have for you in regards to my writing. I've been busy but making sure I keep on track with my writing streak. I'm not going to break it! Even 30 words are better than no words!
Have a bright and colorful day! Keep Writing!
